
Our first clam digging expedition was a giant success and fun was had by all!
If you'd like to join us for this new weekly tour, make sure you bring your gum boots so you don't get your feet too wet! A guide will be there to help you determine the species of the clams you find.
If you wish to harvest your own clams during the expedition, make sure that you have a tidal water recreational fishing license.

In March, Parksville/Qualicum Beach is a popular pit stop for brave Brant geese travelling to the Arctic from Mexico and California.
So, it's time to roll out the sand carpet for these fine feathered friends that return by the thousands for a migratory visit each year.
The 21st Annual Brant Wildlife Festival, sponsored by the Nature Trust of BC, begins with the Opening Night Kickoff on Saturday (March 5) at 6:30pm at the Parksville Community Centre.
